At Global Education Oregon, we create pathways to international, experiential learning for students, faculty, and university partners. Founded on the belief that international engagement is integral to developing global citizens, we:
- Prepare students for a 21st century workforce, creating exceptional academic and professional development opportunities abroad;
- Connect faculty to cross-cultural perspectives that enhance their teaching and research;
- Provide institutional partners with a personalized, progressive approach to international programming and collaboration.
Few other study abroad providers can claim GEO’s unique position within a large, public research institution, along with its close partnerships with a network of over 40 colleges and universities throughout the country. Within this network, GEO is a leader in the design, administration, and implementation of targeted academic study abroad programs. A client-focused and service-directed enterprise, GEO develops and administers high-quality academic programs customized to institutional needs and faculty interests. It also aims to diversify and expand student participation, particularly among students majoring in business, health and social sciences, and STEM fields.
GEO is positioned to offer its partners expanded programming options, grow and diversify student participation in educational experiences abroad, and further increase faculty engagement in study abroad programs. GEO welcomes the opportunity to partner with any institution of higher learning that shares our vision of the transformative power of international education with its benefits of increased global awareness, multilingualism, and cross-cultural savvy.
GEO works with many partner and affiliate institutions. Partner and affiliates offer GEO programs to their students and also provide opportunities to their faculty members through individually designed customized programs with GEO.
GEO campus partners are also eligible for special benefits, including designated campus scholarships and travel support to GEO sites abroad.
